Pics
(whoever has the article just add this lol but keep screenshots, added after "no markings."
Dark green shirt with suspenders, long sleeves with cream ruffles at the edges. Brown knee-high ruffled skirt with black shorts and stockings underneath and dark brown boots halfway up the lower part of her leg, top folded over. A magicked crown of twigs and lavender flowers wrapped around her head.
Oh yeah age, that exists. Age: 19, after gender <3)

Kipp frowned at the cup of coffee he was handed, he would have preferred chocolate flavored, but oh well. All the seats were filling up, there was one obviously empty looking table right in the middle next the the other guy who had some interesting features to say the least. He strode over as confidently as he could muster and plopped himself down next to the three eyed guy.

"Hey." he said into his cup not making eye contact. He wanted to take a sip of the coffee to have an excuse to not talk but it was too hot. So he just sat there with his nose in his mug getting wet from the steam.
Take's third eye glanced at the kid, followed by his other two. He rested his cup on the table and acknowledged the winged boy, "Yo kid" he said with a cocky expression.

He then raised an eyebrow at him just sitting there.

"You should blow on that instead of sticking your nose in it.." he advised quietly. Not intending to sound rude.

Lavender was taken aback by the brilliance of the gem that laid out in front of her. On all fours, she leaned in closer to look at the deep green gem. Flicking her tail back and forth she wondered why something so precious would be out in the middle of the forest. Her ears were already pinned flat against her head, curiosity filled her but so did fear. She looked around her and tucked her tail between her legs, some unnatural force encouraging her to pick up the gem, but she fought it with the little might she had. This is a trap... This has got to be a trap... she thought.
Then again... This is the middle of the forest, no one within miles and miles. So maybe I really should trust it... She reached out gingerly and touched it, finally succumbing to the temptation.
Within that moment a blinding flash of light spread all around her and a loud ringing filled her ears. She couldn't see, she couldn't hear, she couldn't breathe. All she could do was wait, she wanted to scream out for help but even if there was someone around the force of the light took all breath away from her. When the light faded and she had control of her senses again she opened her eyes and found herself curled in a ball underneath a table. She unraveled herself and shrunk a little, rolling onto her stomach she peered out from where she was. To her surprise, she saw she was in a coffee shop. Lavender whimpered and pulled back underneath the table, something hitting her chest as she did. She looked down and saw the gem from the forest wrapped in a flattering crest of gold and silver, connected to an intertwined gold and silver chain around her neck. She admired it for a moment before a surge of courage emboldened her to get out from under the table. She stood up to her full height and looked around, anxiously twirling one of her braids in her dominant hand.
"Where... am I?"

(Hah...not even going to try to respond to all those posts.)

"Oh, this is just ridiculous." Blair hissed, following the group, hanging behind. After she had climbed the stairs, she noticed a boy practically clutching the wall behind him, eyes dark and head lowered.
The boy's tawny head snapped up when he heard her, and she raised a single brow. "You alright, kid?" She asked, tilting her head.
"Uh...I um...yes. Fine. Thanks," he mumbled, dropping his gaze.
"You sure?"
"Yes. Thank you. But...what happened down there?" He beckoned to the stairwell, without meeting her eyes.
"That. Yeah. A giant blue stone is down there, and apparently it's like the mother stone to the ones that transported it here. Transports you anywhere you want, I guess. And now we have to go to Stonehenge to fight some bugs or something."
"Stonehenge..." The boy uttered under his breath. He shook his head. "Sorry. I'm Fox. And you are?" He finally met her eye, his gaze inquisitive.
"Blair. Blair Connor. Pleasure to meet you, Fox," with a nod, she drifted into the main room, taking a seat in the corner chair, and just sat, Kit beside her, watching and waiting.

Clary jumped, falling out of her chair and spilling coffee on the table. She stood up and grabbed a napkin, using it to clean up the coffee. When no one greeted the newcomer, she walked over to her. “Hi. You’re in a coffee shop in Missouri. You were brought here because you’re one of the ‘chosen ones’ to help fight giant bugs.” Clary said. “And yes, we all know how crazy it sounds. No, I could not find the cameras.” She gave her a half smile, and motioned to the counter. “There’s free coffee and snacks, if you’re interested. Oh, and that’s Fred. He’s 11. He’s also free.” She said jokingly, pointing to Fred.

Lav looked at the girl with wide and confused eyes. Someone actually greeted me? What? "M-Missouri? Chosen one?... Giant... bugs?" She glanced around at the other people, trying to process what she had just been told. Then turned back to the girl who had greeted her and gave her a small smile, gratitude creeping into her heart. "T-thank you... For using your time to tell me what's going on." She looked over at the boy nearby and gave him a small wave. "I don't have money though... Can I still get tea?" She asked timidly.
