Take watched the two interact from behind Kipp, he noticed that the fox talked.
Wait. is she a part of our group?
Lav shot a quizzical look at the shirtless demon boy.
Kipp looked away uncomfortable, his stomach turning. More rejection. Why do I even try? He forced a small smile turning back to her. "No it's fine, I know it's lame. Never mind." He said talking over her. Only to stop with her saying she was a coward. He stared at her mortified, his inner voice yelling at him echoing how he imagined she would interpret what he said. 'No it's fine... you're a coward.' That's what you get for interrupting people, now not only does she think you're weird, she thinks you agreed with her about her being a coward. He shook his head to break eye contact and stumbled up and back. "S-sorry." he managed to whisper. His heart was beating hard in his chest. Why do I have to be so weird? Kipp glanced over at Take, who had been there the whole time. He smiled uncomfortably at him, before turning and jumping up into the air. It didn't matter where he was going, anywhere but that exact spot was where he wanted to be.
Lavender noticed the uncomfortableness in Kipps voice and the painful look on his face. her empathy kicked in, breaking through her fear and awkwardness and she quickly jumped after him. Crying out with all her heart.
"No! No! I didnt mean to hurt your feelings! The orb just seemed to have such sentimental value to you! I didnt want to take it away from you! Its not lame! Its beautiful, sure its scratched and scuffed but that adds to its beauty! Dont be sorry, Im the one whos sorry!"
She landed on the ground with a heavy thump and watched him fly away with heaviness and regret in her heart. The last few words came out barely audible.
"Im sorry..." She murmured. "Please dont go..."

(I've gotta go to bed)

(nite nite)

Lav glanced at Take for a moment then looked down at her paws in anguish

“Hey. I’m sure he’ll come back and you guys can patch this up..?” Take said quietly with a concerned look on his face.

Without looking up she replied.
"I hope so... I just have to make everything worse dont I?"
She curled up and sighed heavily.
"When will I wake up from this nightmare?"

Take wasn’t certain of what to say, he reached down to pet the werefox in attempt to comfort her. But pulled back when he thought he’d probably scare her with his sudden heat. He just sighed and leaned against one of the standing stones.

I’m not good at these things.

Lavenders head swirled around in thousands of thing she could have done with the 4 people shes met within the last hour. She lifted her head and looked at Take, conflicted on what she needed to do.
Maybe God is testing me. She thought.
She examined Take, noticing his upset demeanor and she thought for another moment.
If He is testing me then I will just have to keep doing what I think is right.
Lavender heaved up her body and padded over to Takes foot, she curled up on his foot, sudden heat swelling up through her belly and coursed through her body. Which she ignored, even though it was uncomfortable.
"Its going to be alright."

Take’s eyes widened a bit, feeling something covering his foot. He looked down at the small fox and let out a small chuckle, feeling a bit at ease by her words. He attempted to lower the heat on his foot, but not significantly otherwise it’d throw off his internal temperature.

Funny. I was supposed to comfort her, and now she’s comforting me.

He didn’t fidget or move, he let her be as he rested his head against the stone.

Ellie felt the flash knock the wind out of her. Suddenly she was laying on the ground hardly managing a whimper
She tried to take deep breaths but her stomach hurt. As a matter of fact everything hurt currently. She looked up seeing Annie chatting away to someone else. She tried to call for help but she could barely manage a small whisper

"It's gorgeous," Fox murmured, nearly breathless in awe as he dragged himself away from the stones and over to Brid. "I wish we didn't have to leave. I'd prefer to stay here then to walk to some hidden town, I think."

~

"I'm not complaining, because this place is really pretty, but why the heck didn't we just have Laurel transport us to this said hidden place?" Blair approached Kyle and the rest of the group, arms no longer wrapped around herself. "Doesn't make all that much sense to me."

Annie piped up, "He probably couldn't. Or, what I mean is these rocks are ancient," She said pulling the small glowing stone out of her pocket. "It wouldn't surprise me if these rocks were like made to use with it or something."

Blair looked at the small stone in Annie's hand, then at the looming monoliths of Stonehenge. "You could have a point..." She murmured. "Stonehenge has been here forever, and these stones are what...a thousand years old he said, or something? They might be connected to Stonehenge, and that's why we're here and not in that place." She shrugged. "Smart thinking...sorry, I don't think I caught your name?"
“Yeah, the problem is, the other one isn’t a transporter... exactly,” Kyle explained. He patted Rylie’s head, trying to get him to lower his hackles.

“Hey Ellie, you ok?” Cam asked bending over. She couldn’t manage to hide the silly grin on her face, though. “Did you hit your head on one of those stones? Here,” she reached out a hand to pick Ellie back up. “Got a case of motion sickness?” she asked.
