The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

Take swing around quickly to look down at the source of the sudden loud bang. His eyes widened a bit as he saw the random fire on the wall and Blair right next to it. He jogged down the stairs, as if he were going to stick with her, but that was misleading. He tore a knife off the wall and looked Blair in the eyes unashamedly as he lifted up his shirt slightly, hiding the knife in the side of his pants. He was tired of using his bare hands to kill things, so a weapon would be beneficial.
He smirked, “Says the one who’s setting off traps too” and before she could say anything, he pivoted and went back up to the others.
"Don't be that way. I expected knives and arrows, not a random blast of whatever that was that nearly exploded my head." Blair retorted, but he was already up the stairs and rejoining the group before she finished. She gave a sigh, and continued up the stairs at the slow, agonizing pace she was forced to set. "Couldn't care to wait up?" She muttered. Every time she went up a step, it sent waves of sharp pain up her leg, and every time she tensed as she triggered a trap didn't help either.

“Yeah we lost one” Take said solemnly, then started to fake cry. “B-Blair was so young...” he whimpered.

Annie hopped up at Blairs voice.
"You jerk!" She yelled as he went up the stairs past her, swinging her fist at his thigh.

"Take! Don't be a jerk!" Blair called when she heard his words, but a grin formed on her face, despite the pain, when she saw Annie swing a punch to his leg. "Get him, Annie! Don't let him get away with it!"

Take bursted out laughing, “Sorry about that Tinkerbell.” Her little fist made contact with his thigh, it almost felt like a tickle. Since his eyes tend to close when he’s laughing, he didn’t see where he took his next step. A silent schling whipped past his ear and into the wall behind him. He froze and glanced back at the throwing knife that nearly cut off his ear. Instead of being scared, he let out a an amused “heh”

“Yah know, I’m really surprised no one’s gotten hit yet,” Cam laughed nervously, plucking a knife out of the wall and dropping it with a heavy clatter on the step in front of her. Deeming it safe, she took another step.

Annie paled at the sudden knife imbedding itself in the wall. She wasn't sure which was safer, to walk on the steps and set off the traps that would probably shoot right over her head or, hover and possibly get shot when someone else set them off.

"I- I'm sorry I distracted you." She said hanging her head. Even if he was a jerk, she didnt want anyone here to get hurt.

"Thankfully we're all either really short, or good at spotting the traps." She really hoped that none of them would end up getting hit by one of them.
She wanted to ask if the place was much further, but Kyle had said 'the top of the tallest tower' so it was probably pretty high.
"Hopefully we keep getting lucky and we make it all the way with no more accidents."

Hopefully doesn’t seem too promising,” Cam muttered, dropping the knife again before skipping another few steps.

Take watched as Cam dropped the knife and continued on before he bent down to pick it up and put it in his pants with the other one.
He snorted at Annie’s apology, “Forget about it, I was teasing you remember? I kinda deserved it, Blair really wanted you to beat me up too” he chuckled.
