With no warning, she stepped back and slammed her weight into the door, grabbing the doorknob, twisting and pushing until it broke, and she was able to kick the door open.
It swung open halfway off it's hinges. But she just stood there, trembling, trying to force the wolf back. Get back. Not now.
The feral color of her eyes faded back to their normal gold-yellow, and she took a deep breath. "Ellie? Charlie? Are the two of you alright?"
