Holy Buckets! My Rouen had 18 in her nest last year b4 she started setting... with 5 hens this year I am curoius about sizes!

wow! I just had to split up a nest of 33 eggs, momma wasn't able to keep them all warm enough so i put them in the incubator. really hoping the grow!

I just got back from checking on my broody nut-job Indian Runner. I managed to get there right after she hopped off the nest for a food and water break. Now I truly understand "broody poo".

wow that's a lot of eggs!!! my hen laid 21 in her first clutch. i only have one hen and one drake... IN MY BEDROOM yup a broody duck in my bedroom under my desk with a sheet around the front lol
