"Hmm, I wouldn't have chosen 'normal' to describe waiting for love in a place like this." Without moving her head, she gave a short, directed glance at the tavern around them before settling her stare on the man again.
"But if you must, might I also 'assume' that is why you two are here?"

Jintao looked Tay with a half smile, which was like the rest of his act. Earlier, he had wanted it to be clear that they weren't together as in a relationship, but now, he felt as though that'd be his ticket to end the conversation with the stranger.
"Yes, you can." He returned his gaze to the creepy woman with his fake smile growing bigger. He leaned towards her and whispered, "It's her first date that she could sneak off without her father's notice." He nodded to Tay. "As you can see, it took him too long to fall asleep."

Age: 13 years (but as i get older so will my character)
Species: Wolfwalker
Physical Appearance: Tall for her age. Almost-black hair with burnt-caramel colored streaks, like a tabby cat's fur. Deep brown eyes that seem like they could see into your soul. Very slender and athletic - she plays soccer.
Personality: She is friendly with those she knows, but appears cold to those she is not friends with, as she tries to distance herself from people so she doesn't have to interact with them, because she doesn't know how to approach anyone.
Backstory (optional): none yet. (SOMEONE MAKE A FRIEND FOR HER PLEASEEEE SO I HAVE SOMETHING FOR HER TO DO!!!!)

Nautalis let her gaze linger on the young woman for a long moment, allowing the silence to drag painfully.
"So, did you invite her before, or after you found out she was a wanted thief?"
