-The Mythics RP-

Nautilus took a long, slow breath, running a hand through the hair beneath her sea-colored scarf.
"Have patience, dear Jintao," she breathed calmly, adjusting the shoulder of her shirt. "We can always try another vessel. But this one is evidently familiar and open for Mythics, and for me,"
She turned to him, her expression solemn.
"That is something important. You don't understand- you are human. I am born into this, ah, necessity to only tread lightly or where I am allowed."
The siren brushed out the damp wrinkles of her clothes, straightening.
"Recognize, though, I do understand your point, yes?"

Vhanya turned from Ember and started towards her cabin, where the trio were waiting. She opened the door and after placing her hat gently upon its hook, she stepped over to the desk and seated herself, draping one arm leisurely along the back of the desk chair.

She started with the man.
”Go on, speak your mind. You‘ve reeked of disapproval ever since you set foot on this ship-“ her grin was devilish, sharp teeth nearly bared- “I want to hear it all. Truly.“

Ember cocked her head slightly toward the Werewolf, pinning her with her gaze from the corner of her eye.
"No. You will follow me- silently, if you can. The Captain will address you when ready. For now, don't do anything."

"Oh, okay," Lupin agreed peaceably, just happy that she was intact and unburnt. She saluted, realizing as she did so that she was no longer in her werewolf skin. She breathed a sigh of relief, maybe the crew members would like her better when she looked humanoid. She ducked after Ember wishing she wasn't such a large figure with her broad shoulders and heavy build.

Ember strode quickly across the deck toward the fore of the ship, flicking a hand for the Werewolf to follow, the wing she had touched flicking slightly as if trying to shake off the essence of her tap on its own accord.
The Harpy descended gracefully into the narrow corridor of the Quicksilver, one hand faintly trailing each door as Ember thought deeply, calculating which ones were likely the correct cabins.
She stopped sharply, shoving open one of the doors and stepping aside to let it swing with one hand pressing it ajar.
"Here." The Harpy flicked a head at the cabin.
"Wait here until the Captain can see you. Don't make a mess- this isn't necessarily yours yet."

"I do understand about the Mythics," he leaned against the wall. "In fact, I wouldn't expect you to want any other." Jintao saw Vhanya walking over and stepped out of the way. He walked inside the cabin with the females. When Vhanya questioned him, he stopped, then nearly smiled. The captain was observant, he'd give her that, and in a good way.
"I'm sure you don't want to hear all that's on my mind," he abandoned his weapon in his pocket and walked over to a wall. He slid his finger down it and looked at his clean finger afterwards. Turning back to the captain, he said, "Quite the impressive ship, I must say. How much sea life has she seen?"

Lupin bobbled her head yes and stepped inside. The cabin was small, with a little desk bolted to the floor and a few unlit candles rolling about the floor. A hammock dangled crampedly from the ceiling, and there was no blanket inside. Lupin smiled for a moment, while most people might this was a miserable little place, it was quite nice. The walls were clean, and the candles appeared to be made of good wax, not dirty or greasy. There were no smoke stains on the ceiling, and while the hammock was small it was clean.
"Thank you," she said sincerely to Ember, sitting in the chair. It groaned a little under her weight and she quickly got up, not wanting to break something before she was even signed on.
"Can I ask you where you're going?" she asked Ember, pressing her luck extremely

Ember didn't answer, closing the door firmly but not unusually hard, before turning and retracing the route back to the main deck.

She tried to hide it, but her smile twinged into a grimace—the quill pen upon her desk was suddenly captivating, she fixed her eyes upon it.
”Too much. Sea life, I mean.”
The memories his question brought about were most unwelcome, she chuckled slightly to diffuse them and reassumed her languid manner as effortlessly as she could muster.
“She belonged to my grandfather, Captain Alastar Marriott. She is of a new make, Alastar had managed to steal the plans of a ship the likes of her and had her built specifically for pirating use.“
She looked away from the quill and met the man’s gaze, “you don’t see many frigates on these seas, and quite frankly I believe she’s one of the first built. I know she may not look as though she’s seen much wear, but the boards of the weather deck and her sails are completely new, I had them replaced.
