-The Mythics RP-

His smile filled Tay's humor, though her resolute expression was not impacted.
"Your move, cripple." She cocked her head, still flipping blades. Her eyes searched his eager frame, and she doubted his accuracy in this fresh state.
Oh, it was good to flirt with danger.
"Cripple?" Oh why was he starting to get cocky? That should have been enough offense to spill blood right there, but for Tay, it wasn't. "We shall see."
Jintao slid his hand out with a little too much speed. The blade nearly freed itself, with nothing but his fingertips to stop it from going further. A quick hit from Tay would be enough to send it flying, or for the seconds he wasn't finding his grip fast enough.

Taking advantage of his force, she parried her forearm to his and fell back a step.
"Cripple, aye, it is what you are."
A knife rattled in the place between the Man's boots. "Which you must take as an advantage, or else it will be your downfall."

"I see," the words were hushed. His mistake. He dropped to the ground and to the side in the speed of a blink and pointed the snatched weapon for another strike. He gripped the handle tighter now, and pushed the warnings of a hot-spot aside.
Advantage, he'd think on it later. For now, skill and dignity was his only focus. And yet, her words would continue to chew until he surrendered.

Tay slammed her knife against his blade, shielding the steel with her palm. The sudden use of force sent a tremor through Jintao as his bones fought to well-absorb Tay's blow. She resisted the urge to further attack, waiting instead on Jintao's delayed lead.
Her feet burned.

The blow dug the handle into Jintao's skin. He barely even started and the hot-spot was determined to come. He slid his blade off of Tay's and went for her side.
"A little hard, eh?"

"Your predictably?" She parried again. "Not in the least."
They slid blades again. His strikes were gentle compared to hers, and her blows threatened to cut his hand. "No?"
He moved to the side, standing on nothing but his toes. He dashed the blade low and when she went for it, he changed direction, hitting his hand on her wrist instead. Closer to her now, he smiled in an almost cocky sort of way. "You'll splinter your blade if you keep hitting like this."

(Good gracious, you are a body language queen right now-)
"At least I'm hitting," a wild excitement pulsed in her eyes as she drove her knee towards his abdomen, wincing as toes twisted in her grounded leg.
