Oh! I hope one of my Roos feed the chicks! Oh no here I go down the slippery slope! Just a few eggs under an experimental broody. Maybe. I'm saving my pennies for fruit trees, So no chick order! :D

Okay...so if I want one of these do I have to go to a "fancy pants" breeder? If I went to a shelter or rescue, how would I know if it was that breed? (I'm "cat illiterate" as far as breeds go).

Oh...and I already have the mouse (several, actually) so I won't need any of those.
For a pure Maine Coon you'd need a breeder. I wouldn't use a breeder. I would just get a mix.

My friend's parents gave me Charlie for free.

Both of my mixes were over 15 pounds. Big boys. One was not fat, though Charlie definitely was a little hefty. He had a thyroid issue. Loved him regardless. My big fat fluff head.

My chickens do something weird when they accidentally step in belly deep snow. They freeze stock still and won't move until I rescue them. I left one for 15 minutes and she wouldn't move. What gives?
