The broody here on the nest is nasty as all get out..she is so loud and growls enough to scare the poor dog. i think I am going to make a short taape tomorrow so others can see a funny broody, not being so funny.

I have a broody too. She's on day I have no clue.. Maybe 7? Not really keeping track. I continually find a bantam rooster in the box sitting with her. Moral support I guess. She has 3 eggs.

x2. I haven't had any alcohol since '99. My choice, not a drinking problem to clarify(Went to a Tool concert and don't know how I got home)

Same kind of happening with me. Had a really bad experience when I turned 19 and went out clubbing. Never again. I won't go to clubs or drink.

When I was talking to the guy at the hardware about drilling the glass he suggested putting a little oil on the glass surface while drilling.

Water is better. Any time I drill glass, I fill the piece with sand (if possible), pack the piece in a bucket of sand, with the area I'm drilling exposed and have my wife drip water on the hole while I'm drilling.

But grinding isn't drilling. Coolant normally isn't used. No reason not to, I guess, and it would cut down on the dust.

Oh my gosh you guys! 3 days I'm gone and I'm behind 62 pages!!

I'm getting frustrated with my deep litter, I keep stirring and adding some "brown" stuff and I can't get the ammonia smell balanced. It's so darn damp here with our humidity and weather that I'm not sure I can get it dry enough at this time of year. I have probably a 12-16 inch base going of shavings, I put "dry stall" stuff down last week - I'm stirring it up. What am I doing wrong? It's an 8X4' coop and I have 8 hens. They have access to a run during the day, but hang out most of the day inside right now because we're hitting close to freezing and it's also been raining forever!

I had a crazy 3 years, I have no idea how I ended up safely making it through my 19-21 age without a scratch! Now I just feel old, if I get more than a modest amount of wine I suffer.

and the liquid may keep the glass dust & any chips from getting in your eyes - wear your safety glasses!!! VERY IMPORTANT - we need to keep you able to read all our entertaining posts

I do tile - and if there was a safe way to get water to the surface that could be helpful in keeping the temp down & the chips from getting away from you. But electricity & water - well we know how that mixes!! You will want to go slow - the risk is a broken or cracked jar -- some protective gloves for your hands may be in order as well.

- it's really not hard - just want you to be safe!
