The Never Ending Question: Are these males?

Belated Update: all 6 ended up being females/pullets.

They’re barnyard mixes.

We feed the cockerels to my dog. We already dispatched 6 with bright red combs and wattles.

These are the ones that are left that are still questionable since their combs are still pale, but they have wattles.

They’re only 4 weeks. I know it’s best to wait til 5 weeks. Just wondering what your guesses are.

My husband wants to just feed them all to the dog, but if there’s a girl in here I rather wait and sell it or let it grow with our flock.

I think the white, the second to last, might be an early-pinking female.

So I’d say the first bird and last one are males.

Could be. Then again, any bird could be an early pinking pullet.

I can’t say any are definitely girls, nor can I say any are definitely boys. You may have to wait. But I’d bet there’s a girl there somewhere.
