Beefy, this may be a dumb (city girl) question, but does your camera have a motion sensor or something? I looked up your link and the info was a little vague. I think my DH would love a toy like this. And you know, it's never to early to start saving for Christmas. Don't know if I WANT to know about all the beasties in my yard at night, though...

Oh, and BTW, that series of photos with the raccoon that scurried right by your foot, I almost threw up a little in my mouth. Eeeek!

yeah that was gross.

it is motion activated. but it has several different settings. i'm not sure about the battery life being 60 days as advertised tho.

Yup... Love this thread. Whenever I feel like dragging my feet about gettin ready for trappin' season I just come on here

I'm hoping to catch a skunk this year and a bobcat before quota is filled. I'd like to get a couple of foxes, too. I'd like a pelt to keep and one to donate to the local nature center. Theirs is missing the tail from so many kiddos passing it around, etc. Neat trail cam pics, beefy

We were having a coon coming around our place and my husband set a live trap one night. The next day he was all excited because he caught "a stray cat" in it. When I went out to see the cat, I laughed cause it was one of our own retarded cat! too funny
