The Never-ending Raccoon thread. (BOBCAT CONFIRMED PAGE 15)

Hey Beefy, are you still happy with this camera? I've been reading mixed reviews about it... price at Wally world has gone down, so I'm considering it. There's rumors of a bear in the neighborhood and I'm curious to see what's been wondering around since there's too many leaves to watch for good tracks these days. It could be there, just nosing around so this camera is looking like a good idea.

what do the negative reviews say? i'm satisfied with mine. the batteries will last longer if you cut it off when you dont need it on. i usually cut mine off during the day and turn it on at night. it would be nice to have one with a viewer on it but no complaints here.

LOL this thread was GREAT! Love the bob cat and foxes

All I ever get in my live traps ( i have 5) are tons of skunks and coons.

I haven't read much of this thread but I was wondering something. What do you do with all the coons/possums/whatever else that you catch?

What actually amazes me (and makes me a wee bit happy actually)... is that you have that many critters, yet lose as few chickens and eggs as you do! Or do you not report the grizzly details of MIA and mutalated fowl?

BTW... loved the joke about the bears being afraid of yer foil hat after the saucer incident! LOL

Hi Beefy - your thread inspired me to buy a game cam for my husband for Christmas. It was delayed in shipping but we got it a couple of weeks ago. Haven't had time to put it up yet plus now we have to order an SD card which we didn't realize you HAD to have if you want to see and/or transfer the pictures it captures in its internal memory. So, I guess I didn't research them enough. I thought since all the info on it said how it could hold 100 pictures in internal memory meant you could actually see or access the pictures, but NO.

It's a Cuddeback Capture. I think it will be fun to see what's running around at night around here - most likely will capture my dogs up to no good.
