Update- lots has happened around here!! I started hatching out some mix mutts. And bought a Standard Splash Cochin rooster 2 weeks ago! I'm going to start breeding Cochin's now once my broodies hatch out their babies and start laying again.

I also bought 4 Muscovy duckling from the breeder I got the roo from. And on the way we stopped for duck feed and can out with two goslings. I might have a problem. lol

We got an order of 22 chicks from Meyer hatchery this morning at 7 a.m. We have 5 broad breasted coming tomorrow morning.

About 2 hours ago a chick pipped on the side of its egg right into a blood vein. It has passed away in the shell

. But I'm not going to complain this is the first chick I have lost that I've hatched. 40 more eggs left in the bator I hear cheeping now just waiting for pips.

Good grief, that is a lot of stuff going on.

Great looking birds. Funny how that works, eh? You go somewhere and when you come back you have birds you weren't expecting.

Thanks!! It is a lot of stuff. I just checked on the bator and lots of cheeping and wiggling eggs!! I can't tell if any r pipped but I think there will be babies in the a.m.!!!

I now have lots of peeping on internal and one full pip. I'll post when they hatch!!
