The Never Ending Story Of The Buffingtons

Hi, I have decided to make a thread for my five chickens. I hope you all like it.




The Introduction
The Buffington Family is made up of 5 ladies,




Skye, The protective leader,


Eggnog, The second in command,


Q, The sister of Eggnog,


Hershey Kisses (Hershey), The curious bantam,



And Chipmunk, the smallest lady in the family.

The Buffingtons have many great qualities,such as kindness and the ability to care for themselves, (Most of the time

) but they also have bad qualities,such as bossiness and stubbornness.

Chapter 1: The Break In Today was a normal morning for the Buffingtons, They were waiting by the door when the smallest giant opened it to let them out.
All of the Buffingtons ran quickly out the door to be greeted by the flashy thingy. (Camera)
While the giant stood there with the flashy thingy, the Buffingtons went about their normal business.
Lady Hershey and Miss Q went looking for tasty bugs,

Miss Chipmunk went back into the coop to eat leftovers from the treat block, unaware that the block itself was right behind her.


Lady Eggnog was watching Lady Hershey and Miss Q

And Lady Sky was looking at Miss Chipmunk, waiting for her to realize that the treat block was right behind her.


So the giant picked them up one at a time and put them inside their chicken tractor.


While the Buffingtons where happily eating bugs, the giant let the horses Sir Prince (The White One) and Lady Scarlet out of their paddock to graze.


As the Buffingtons watched, Sir Prince walked into their home!


They bocked indignantly, they didn't want Sir Prince snooping through their things, what if he ate their treat block?! The Giant walked up behind Sir Prince and said, "Prince! Bad boy!" Sir Prince whirled around and cantered out of the Buffington's home. He watched with his ears back on his head as the Giant locked the gate.

The Buffingtons smirked as Sir Prince trotted away, he hadn't gotten away with breaking into their home!

Chapter 2: Thank Goodness!


Yesterday Evening was a scary time for Miss Chipmunk, the small giant came to put them inside for the night. So she opened the top of the small building attached to the chicken tractor. She locked the hinges so the top would stay up, and checked for eggs. (There wasn't any, as she had already collected them that morning) Lady Sky and Miss Chipmunk jumped out of the building, so the giant gently grabbed Sky and put her back inside her pen, she was just about to pick up Miss Chipmunk when the hinges unlocked!! The roof fell ontop of poor Miss Chipmunk, rendering her helpless and in pain! It took five seconds for the giant to finally pull the lid off of her. Once she was able to escape, she ran towards her regular pen. The small giant ran to her, she opened the pen door and Miss Chipmunk ran inside her coop. The small giant watched her move for a while, and was happy to see that she didn't limp. She then checked for blood, there was none. She checked her wings out, they were fine. She made sure nothing was wrong with her eyes, they were as good as ever. Miss Chipmunk was fine, Thank Goodness!!

Chapter 3: Buffet of Carrots

(8/14/2012)
Today was a gorgous summer day

So The Buffingtons celebrated with a buffet of carrots, Lady Sky, Lady Eggnog, And Miss Q Had whole carrots,

While Miss Chipmunk and Lady Hershey had small bite size chunks. (I couldn't get a pic, they ate too fast)

When the larger Buffingtons had finished their carrots, they stole the littler ones carrots.

(6/16/2012) Chapter 4: Chick Pictures

Today the Buffingtons were looking at their family picture album, the Buffingtons were amazed at how small they used to be! They looked at Lady Sky's chick pictures first.







Then they compared the pictures to her now.

What a difference!

Then they looked at Eggnog's Pictures













And compared them:

Then They looked at Miss Q's chick pictures












And compared them:

Then they looked at Lady Hershey's chick pictures (I have more, but this was the cutest)



And then they compared it

They then looked at Miss Chipmunk's chick pictures (Again, i have more)

Then compared:

(Kinda bad picture, but it will have to do)

They all look so different now!
