The new chick in town

hi everybody, I stumbled across this board tonight looking for information on quail, and thought I'd pop in and say boo.
My farm-y-ness is still in its infancy... planning stages really.
I know what I want, and I've known I want a couple acres and some animals for nearly my whole life, but for now I'm fresh out of college, renting a room, and not allowed any more animals than I currently have.
One day soon the plan is 5 acres, horses, chickens, rabbits, quail, sheep and a good dog or two. Maybe a milk cow once I am settled down enough to commit to actually milking her.

Welcome Cat! I am new to these forums too. Don't worry about your dream farm being in "infancy". Mine has been in planning for many years. Currently in an apartment, but we are finally in the process of buying our perfect mini-farm!!! Never give up on a dream!
