I think that the ark design is the most functional type of small coop for the trio of birds a lot of people seem to have. I planned my coop for 25 layers, but soon after my son wants to add 3-4 EE's or Ameraucanas for the egg color. I have enough material to make another small coop and it will probably be an ark!! Great looking structure!!
