The new chicks...still have to be patient!

Hello! The tentative hatch/pickup date & time for my baby chicks is today at 4:30. I got an update from the farm this morning that as of 8am still not all hatched. Will receive another update at noon. If they aren’t ready, I’ll have to wait til tomorrow at 4:30 to pickup. Please send good hatching thoughts! I am really hoping I get to start loving the little ones today! I will post pictures once we get them home! ❤️❤️❤️

Well, I’ll know by 6. Doesn’t look good, still waiting on some late hatchers. Will most likely have to wait til tomorrow. Why am I so impatient! Now I know how my family felt when they was waiting for my kids to be born! 😂😂 Pictures tomorrow for sure!

I was contemplating stopping to TSC and getting 6 (the minimum per my state) but I stopped myself. I can wait 24 hours longer, right?

So the countdown continues...in my order I am expecting 3 each of:
Australorp
Barred Rock
Gold Wyandotte
Americana/EE
We are going to get a few more chicks if they have any extras. I was supposed to get 3 Buff Orpington as well but I texted to add them on after the original order so I’m not positive they did.

Countdown- 20 hours to go!
