Don't know yet if I will need anything in the run. Our ground is about 1" of dirt and then rock. In the old run I just left it as is with no issues, but they did not spend a lot of time there. I'll have to see how they do in this one. My theory is that it should be fine, but they are digging holes pretty fast....
