We finally started the new coop this last weekend. Pretty impressed with our progress, but still a lot to do. Questions, comments, and tips are greatly appreciated 😁
what a great job you guys are doing! Pups always are there to help, or at least pose like they are helping!!! Just remember they jumping they need to do with some space to land. what kind of flooring? nice color combo!!
 
Thank you! There is 7 feet from the roost bar to the front wall and I'll be putting in a ramp for my heavies šŸ˜‰
I don't know if this info is of any use but I built a ladder for mine. I put the... rungs(?) close together and they can walk up and down or hang out for a bit. I like the idea because it can be a bit steeper than a ramp (apparently?) and I put cleats on the bottom instead of a couple of the rungs so they can walk between the sides (so it has a smaller footprint).
 
I have a dumb question - but how does it work?
Turn it to the side to raise up the pop door, then once raised turn it back out to secure it in the open position.
