The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

Up for auction, bid starts at $15 for 5 started chicks from a project pen out of 2 different large fowl hens that are chocolate (Orpington/Ameraucana cross) that lay blue eggs and the father is my Barred Holland rooster. There is one cockerel and 4 pullets. All have straight combs so probably will be white eggers. All the chicks are barred. Neat little beginner flock of barred chickens but also the cockerel is split for chocolate so breeding these pullets, there can be chocolate barred pullets and half of the cockerels will carry chocolate. Shipping box is $10 and shipping cost will be whatever the actual cost is to ship from me to you. I'm in SW Mo. I take paypal only. Auction ends Sat evening 8 pm and they will ship Tuesday. There is a cool front coming in so the weather here will be nice to ship. If it's too hot on your end to ship Tues I will hold them until the following Tues. but no later.

Here are the mothers. They lay pretty blue eggs and are big girls.

I don't have any recent photo's of the Barred Holland cockerel but here is a pic of some of my Holland hens this summer. He's got a lighter, neater barring. They have red ear lobes and lay white eggs.

CANCELLED - I can't figure out how this can work, where the bids go etc

Thanks! SILKIED/ SPLIT OES EGGS AND SPLIT EGGS Auction starts at 15.00! 6 + OE carrying the silkied gene.you should hatch about 50/50 silkied and smooth carrying splits 6 + other various girls smooth non-carriers making all their eggs splits eggs. There is a black am from crystal creek and a pretty Blue maran, from Ernie Haire and an nice blue OE from my lines here made with Ernies marans and Catkais blue am. and "Lucky "our RIR rescue that literally tried to jump into our truck at the slaughter house...she escaped came over and " spoke to me" she coos as she talks. I of course was appalled at her mangled little face that had been debeaked...(a heartwarming story I should write out one day)needless to say she lives here now and I just had to put her somewhere,I don't have a place on the farm that she could go other than here and it is easy if you would prefer not to receive her eggs I understand...she is the most precious soul and I'm ok with it..lol she lays a silky brown egg that is easy to tell from the others so she can't mess us up if you don't want hers, but she offers with a kind heart and effort and I thank her every day. She knows I am talking to her and she talks right back...she is my soul chicken...lol If for some reason the girls don't lay enough between now and then( lord knows all I have to do is sell some eggs and they hold Em all in) I will let you get extras of other breeds I have. We can determine that in PM.
Oh man, if I could just know for sure that I would get a splash like that! She is gorgeous. Are you hatching a lot of splash with these eggs??
Thanks so much I love her she is so very very pretty and she is just as soft as she looks! I can REALLY try to get ya as many eggs. Possible to increase your odds... I honestly don't know I have personally never hatched her eggs yet! I am not allowed until spring! I have in the past gotten alot of splash from catkai's eggs I had her blue ams for the longest they made lots of splash babies...MY marans make lots of splash... And Kim sent me these eggs and I got one blue one splash...but with this combo you have the blue on blue which can make splash and then the splash and blue makes splash also...my genetics brain went to bed an hour ago...lol but as always it is a shot you have to decide to take, I think you would get one at least...with all those eggs! Sides that's cheap take a chance!

Can you add a picture of the chicks? They sound adorable so I will say $15 =)
