Is there a place to give reviews for people selling on this site?  I have seen posts saying not to be negative and not to discuss anything on this thread.  It doesn't seem right that we can't warn people or at least post our experiences.

Ummm people do leave feed back here from auctions on this forum. Is a good idea to seek resolution privately first tho.

I wasn't talking about fixing something. I meant to let others know when someone is misrepresenting what they are selling. I PM'd people that have bought eggs in the past from some people on here and not one has hatched a single chick that is what the person is advertising. I wanted to find a place where people can post pictures of what they hatched. Seems it would be the best way to know what you are getting. I have seen positive feedback, but the only time I saw negative, the person was told to PM. I may have missed other feedback. I will read the link that wass provided above.

If you have a problem use the PM's to contact and work with seller/buyer. No drama on the threads themselves however, many people do share pictures and breakage info on this thread. Shippng via the USPS is hard on eggs. Just whe I think I have a packing method to beat the USPS the PO proves me wrong.

ALL experiences are accptable on the feedback system provided by BYC. BOTH negative and positive. I often check a buyers rep. I have never been stiffed for payment yet.

Perhaps we can start another feed back thread if the BYC system will only take 1 response for feed back. I want people to know how hard I work to send viable eggs that arrive in good shape.

for as many eggs as I've auctioned, sold and sent out on swaps, I've never gotten ANY feedback (even when using the bst thread...) go figure.

and unfortunately my memory isn't so great, so I forget who had good hatches vs usps scrambling for the most part. i need to start tracking that too. (thank the gods for MS Excel LOL it's my memory).

I was trying to find a way to start a thread so people could leave pictures of hatched chicks. I think this would be fair. Poor hatch rates can be from shipping but if a chick is a RIR when the eggs were supposed to be FCM, that is not a shipping problem. Also, it will show how nice the chicks. I couldn't find 'start a thread' on the buy-sell-trade link. Where should I go to start a thread like this? I'm am sorry this is not selling or buying but I'd like people on here to be able to find it.

well, i'm going to put this out there... I know we're not supposed to do auctions for advance sales of eggs not yet laid, so i'm not auctioning, but if anyone is interested in Dorking (sg roo over sg & red hens), bantam cochin (silver laced, red, mille fleur, mottled), BLRW or SFH, PM me... some are not yet laying (4 month old pullets), others are moulting right now, so I don't have enough to ship... but i'm offering discounted prices on advanced orders right now...

If there is a problem with misrepresenting the eggs being sold here and the seller did not make it right, I would post the issue here with pictures to document.

You can leave feedback, good and bad including pics here on the auction thread. We love pictures!! We just need to be factual and courteous. That also keeps the "business" side of things together and relatively easy to find.

There are other places to chat about things arising from the auctions that are not strictly feedback.
If enough people want a new purely "chat" thread then I can start one.
Please pm me about that so as not to bury the auctions in talk
