The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

lol.. if you lived closer that could have happened!
haha, now of my friends even raise chickens, in fact most of them don't even like chickens. Oh, That just means more for me! One year for easter my dad took me to rural king and I got to pick out $50 worth of chicks. All I picked was easter eggers (any other breeds I get from breeders),It was a fun easter.

My orp hens have been going thru a hard molt. Poor girls have bare spots. Well one started before the other and is now getting feathers but the other one looks like a porcupine. They are our eating eggs birds. The rest are silkie and sizzles and they are laying pretty good. "ve been selling mine on ebay because there was too much chatter here and they weren't selling. Now on ebay they are all selling. I have sizzle eggs up for auction now on ebay. I don't normally sell there but I'm desperate. My brother is in the hospital again. I think he inherited all oour mothers medical issues along with a few more. He had heart surgery a few years again for the 2nd time and he died twice in the operating room and now he's back with congestive heart failure along with anemia missing 1/3 of his blood mass. But they keep taking blood for tests. He wont' have any left before long. SOOO..I'm trying to raise the money to hop on a train to go up there. He's in northern Indiana and I'm in west Tennessee. It's a long train ride. I can't take the car because DH needs it to tansport the grandsons

If you can book about 3 weeks ahead you can get Get Away Prices from Southwestern. From Nashville to Akron, Ohio that is $98. But the super cheap prices disappear about a week out of the flight date. I don't know if they sell out or they just bump the prices the closer you get to flight time.

The closer airport would be Memphis but I've never flown and at this point I don't plan to. I got an update on him tonight and he had a bad night last night and may have had another heart attack. He was having a very hard time breathing but they aren't sure if it was a heart attack or just trouble breathing. They decided to do the angiogram which worries me alot because of all the blood thinners he's on. The dye messes with his kidneys and in the shape they're in they can't use much dye. They think he has a leak in his heart valve. If they can't put in a stint they will have to open him up again. He died twice on the table with his last surgery then developed an infection in his mouth and they put him in a coma for 11 days till it was cleared up. It was a horrible eperience. He first hemmoraged when they started to cut and had to get that under control then during the surgery he did it again. They put him on a bypass machine and when they took him off it his heart didn't start back up and they had to shock him several times. This time his heart is very fragile to the point they are afraid to do the angiogram but they have to to find the problem.

Hey I would like to buy some of your eggs now to help you out but I am helping my daughter move to Denver this month. Can't set them right away. Can I get a "gift certificate" that I could claim latter when I have things settled and am back in town. My homemade incubator has to be checked regularly. Even if they should stop laying till Spring I wouldn't be concerned because my DH would rather I not hatch before March. Don't know that I am going to last that long though.

Hatching fever may take hold!

This way you can have the cash now and catch me up with eggs later.

hope raise enough money to go visit him
He has been sick all his life and he is just getting worse. He has a disabled daughter that they will be taking care of for the rest of their lives then their oldest daughter will get custody of her so she can take care of her after they pass on. My brother and his family are very very close and although I know that his body won't be able to continue alot longer we don't want to loose him anytime soon. I'm afraid for them to do surgery.
