The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

ok just a heads up... I'm headed for 2 shows in the next month. the VPBA will be at the caroline county fairgrounds north of Richmond VA, and the TVPC show (also ABA nationals) in Knoxville tn...

I've got a variety of chicks I can bring with me, if someone is interested, but they will be staying here otherwise.
a few SFH (possibly a few of leigh's extras), 1 black laced bantam blrw cockerel, a pair of mille fleur bantam cochin chicks (the pullet is split mille but will produce nicely marked chicks). I've also got an ee cross pullet that should mature large bantam or small LF... momma is LF EE, sire is red bantam cochin. yeah he got lucky. LOL as well as a silver grey dorking girl or 2... (mature, going on 2 years old).

if there's interest in can start an auction for a few of them...

Hum, I can't go but I'm only 2hrs away from Knoxv. soo, IF I could arrange transport I''d be interested in a very small # of SFH. I need a Roo for my adult pullet, I have 2 that are almost 5 weeks old now, but I don't think I got the roo I need there. So, not saying I'd bid, just saying this is interesting & I'll need to see if I can find anyone very local to me who is going & would transport a very small # of chicks. What age are the ones you'd bring ? (Trying to figure which group I have now I could smuggle them into w/o drama from other birds or the DH ;)

The closer airport would be Memphis but I've never flown and at this point I don't plan to. I got an update on him tonight and he had a bad night last night and may have had another heart attack. He was having a very hard time breathing but they aren't sure if it was a heart attack or just trouble breathing. They decided to do the angiogram which worries me alot because of all the blood thinners he's on. The dye messes with his kidneys and in the shape they're in they can't use much dye. They think he has a leak in his heart valve. If they can't put in a stint they will have to open him up again. He died twice on the table with his last surgery then developed an infection in his mouth and they put him in a coma for 11 days till it was cleared up. It was a horrible eperience. He first hemmoraged when they started to cut and had to get that under control then during the surgery he did it again. They put him on a bypass machine and when they took him off it his heart didn't start back up and they had to shock him several times.  This time his heart is very fragile to the point they are afraid to do the angiogram but they have to to find the problem.

So sorry I hope he recovers

Lenny my frizzle roo

Floyd my calico roo

Up for auction: 6+ calico cochin eggs. One of my roos is a birchen frizzle to add more black chevrons so calico frizzles are a definite possibility. I breed for type, SOP standard, personality, correct size and color in that order. All chicks hatched from these eggs will have nice, short, well feathered, yellow legs as well. Roos are completely unrelated to the hens so this is a great way to get a start on a flock of your own. Bidding will start at $16 + 15 shipping paypal only please. Bidding ends Friday at 7am EST.

Daisy one of my 7 calico hens and typical of how they look.
oops.. should have been more specific. I'm interested in this one.

He came home yesterday with more meds to take. He isn't 100% but he's home with his family.
Thats great! Sending thoughts and good vibes his way.
