Lavender Marans project eggs:
12 total eggs, I will add more if I have them, and you may receive up to 16.
This is a black split to lavender marans roo over black and black copper marans hens. I have been hatching anywhere from 20-50% lavender chicks. I have juveniles that are about 12 weeks old. i will try to take some photos of them tomorrow to add to the auction. Egg color that I am hatching from ranges from 3-7 on the egg color scale. Also I am hatching between 40-60% feather legs. So, this is a project. Hoping to have second generation chicks in a few months.

they seem to get lost around St Louis and arrive late and scrambled horribly. St Louis seems to eat everything chicken related except adult roosters LOL I guess they just make so much noise it's hard to misplace them. eggs and chicks seem to suffer 2-3 day layover there. haven't had any mature hens pass thru there yet, but I'd still worry... I've heard horror stories of birds passing thru.

knock on wood, my silver laced bantam cochin roo got here the NEXT day after shipping and passing thru there. LOL guess he was especially loud and annoying. LOL

Oddly enough, I've had great luck with chicks and older chickens from CA, but like you, horrible with eggs. Air sacs are all messed up and hatch rate very low.
