I believe your birds are what are commonly referred to as Easter Eggers.  The cock in your picture is not one of the 8 recognized Ameraucana color varieties.

I guarantee he is Ameraucana. Would not trick people, I believe tricking people just to sell is wrong. I also have Black and Blue Cochin Bantams I could do 6 Ameraucana and 6 Cochin.

philyaw539, your birds are not any of the accepted color varieties of Ameraucanas. thus not true Ameraucanas and cannot be offered as such. If you would like to offer them as Easter Eggers, which are Great layers, that would be fine. You may go to the BYC Ameraucana thread and the breeders there will be happy to explain the ins and outs of the color varieties to you. Thanks Dak

We just got RP eggs from mzstre this week: packing was great, eggs look great, prompt shipping and wonderful communication. Hoping for a good hatch!

Unless both parents are the same recognized color variety of ameraucanas the chicks will be easter eggers. The ameraucana breeders club is very exact about what can and cannot be called ameraucanas, and just because they lay a blue egg also does not make them ameraucanas. It sounds like you were mislead when you purchased your birds.

The eggs you are offering should produce nice chicks. You just can't sell them here as ameraucanas.
