The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

Goodness, Dak, I've been drooling over your birds. I haven't bid for 2 reasons - my incubator is full and my husband would divorce me if I added a new breed. Out of curiosity - how is egg production on your line? I had Lav Ams a couple of years ago and they had very poor production. Maybe I could justify some of yours later if they lay better!

Once they get started they lay very well and lay past when most slow down due to the heat around here in New Mexico. Like all Ameraucanas though they take longer to get to POL than some breeds.

NOTE on projects. It will take at least a few generations to get these colors to breed true some shorter than others (ex. chocolate cuckoo and blue cuckoo and mottled spangled should breed true within 2 generations if you select appropriately. the chicks from the jub x jub splits are a mystery to me. I don't know really how I'm getting all the colors i'm getting so I don't expect to get them breeding true for at least 3 generations although to be honest it's just a guess. You will get some beautiful, fun colors of orps though for sure. Please do not sell them as anything but PROJECTS if you intend to try to sell any of them. If I find someone advertising these falsely, I will certainly not sell to you again.
