The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

Man this bites!!

DH said we're going on vacay the last week in July. "No more eggs until school starts!!!"
I sure hope some of these get posted in late August ...
As long as they are laying I'll be selling. I hatched all I plan to for now. I should be putting some porcelain up for auction as soon as the girls stop being broody. I hatched out several and my last batch was a 100% fertility and hatch rate. I was so happy about that since I've been having trouble getting many of anything to hatch unless I used a broody. Our weather has been so crazy so far this spring and summer. But I managed to hatch what I wanted. Just have to wait to see how many girls I get. Both my silver partridge girls are broody and I have 1 more to add to the pen. Not sure if it's a boy or girl yet but leaning towards girl. Also have a few paints to add to the paint pen and hopefully girls for that one also.

mygreenkitty won the 6 splash eggs

Auction 1
I have another auction for 6 splash silkie eggs Bid starts at $10.00 and shipping is $13.00. It ends at noon tomorrow central time. They will be shipped on the 5th to avoid them sitting at the PO for the holiday. The roo came from Bobbi Porto and he's been shown several times and he won 1st in BV in all but 1 show and he got 2nd in BV in that one. One of the hens was shown when she was a pullet and she got 1st in BV.

Auction 2
12 mixed color sizzle eggs. Bid starts at $15.00 and s&h is $15.00 Auction ends tomorrow at noon central time and will ship on the 5th. Due to the holiday. If the same person wins both auctions the shipping for both is $15.00.
There are 2 white sizzle hens, 2 frizzled silkie partridge hens and a blue hen all covered by a white silkie roo.

This hen was shown and she got 2nd in BV

This hen was shown and won 1st in BV

No bids yet and this ends tomorrow at noon. I may extend it another day because I won't be shipping them till the 5th. No eggs over 4 days will be sent so I guarantee fresh eggs.

Whew!! and :fl I will be thinking of your beautiful sizzles and silkies and praying for their continued egg laying.

My son was talking silkies today-- he wants to see the black skin, the black meat and the black bones . . . . what can I say, he's a boy!!

I'm trying to be good-- besides, silkies are far too cute to eat.
