The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

Is there a way I can ask that Sellers put their home state in the listing somewhere? I haven't hatched shipped eggs before and would prefer to purchase from someone closer my first time.

Thank you!

Catlin, I know I just missed your auction for ams, but just for future reference (because I really like them), what lines are they? also, I see some other colors of birds along with that rooster, are they in with other colors or do you have them separate now?

Oh and I bid $6

24 hour Auction

12+ Swedish Flower Hen eggs - Bidding starts @ $35, includes shipping. Last bid accepted at 8:00pm EDT, Mon. March 31st. Eggs to be shipped on Tue., April 1st. Payment to be by PayPal no later than 11:00pm Mon. night. Eggs will be well wrapped, double-boxed and shipped USPS Priority Mail. No shipments to VA OR HI.

I have 14 hens and 6 roos from 5 different sources, so you will get lots of diversity. They are laying well and fertility is great. None of my birds have split-wing or curled toes, but a couple of the hens have side sprigs. I have both crested and non-crested hens, and the 2 youngest roos are crested, so there is a small chance of a crested to crested breeding. My main roos, Astolf and David, run a very tight flock and the younger roos don't get a lot of opportunities to breed even if the hens will let them near.

ETA - I pack very well and send fresh, fertile eggs, but I can not be held responsible for rough handling by USPS. Shipping hatching eggs is a risk, but I do my best to ensure safe arrival. If you are not prepared to accept that risk, please don't buy these eggs.

Thanks for looking!
No bids so far. I have 15 eggs collected from today, yesterday and Saturday. I have a few left from Friday that I can add in if you like, or I can add a couple of Royal Palm turkey eggs.

ok I had one question for anyone who had watched this thred for a while.....

have you ever seen:
- Japanese Bantams (I need new blood in my breeding)
- Sebrights (I want to start a new breed)
- Crele OEGB
- Black Australorps

this would help ALOT! thanks ;)

Thank you!

In my experience the eggs that have to fly always do MUCH better than the eggs that travel by truck. I have shipped from Massachusetts to nearly every state in the union (except Hawaii), and my best hatch rates for shipped eggs have always come from the eggs sent to the west coast or Alaska.
