Auction for 6 - 8 Silver Partridge Silkie eggs. Starting bid $15.00 and S&H single boxed is $13.00, Double boxed is $15.00 Auction ends in 24 hours. They will be shipped Monday. I'll collect over the weekend. All my birds are NPIP and AI tested and certified clean. I have them tested every year.

I pack very well.I bubble wrap each egg individually and place them in either a carton or egg flat air cell up. Then place either the carton lid or another egg flat on top and tape together to make a bundle. I place that bundle on a nest of shredded paper air cell up in a 7x7x6 priority box. I pack more shredded paper around and on top to make sure the bundle don't move during shipping. I write Fragile on all 4 sides and on top of the box. For double boxed I put the small box in a 12x12x8 priority box on shredded paper and pack more shredded paper around and on top of the box and make it snug so the small box don't shift during shipping. I put fragile on all 4 sides and on top of the box. If the buyer wants something else written on the box or something in addition to what I write just let me know and it will be done.

All 3 silkies were shown in a small local show. All the silkies that were entered were judged together not by color. The hens got 3rd and 4th place and the roo got 2nd place. I"ve tested fertility and all I set are fertile. I have a few in lock down now.









The 2 last ones are the hens when they where just pullets.

Pen 1
There are a partridge frizzled silkie hen, black sizzle hen and a white sizzle hen covered by a porcelain roo. All have been shown except for the white sizzle hen. I don't have pics of the partridge hen at her show. My camera batteries were dead and I didn't know it till it was too late. The black hen was at the same show but she also has been shown twice so I am posting a pic of that show.

Pen 2
I have a blue split to lav silkie hen and a partridge frizzled silkie roo in this pen. He has been shown once. She has not. She got a broken top beak as a chick and it's still healing. So she's not showable because of that.I hatched 3 chicks from them last year and I got a black frizzled silkie cockerel with gold leakage, a lavender silkie cockerel with alot of gold leakage and a black silkie pullet with a faint speckle of gold that can hardly be seen.



Pen 3
There is a white silkie roo with a white sizzle hen and a blue sizzle hen. The white sizzle hen has been shown. She was in the show were my camera was dead. She got 2nd place. I plan to show the roo this year.He has gotten alot fluffier with age. The pic of him is from last year. I need to get a new one.

I think it because everyone is full for the HAL. I have seen several auctions and BIN I would have like to bid on. Just cant squeeze anymore in there. And I refuse to use the borrowed incubator again. After this hatch they can have it back. I will just have to make due with one.

I understand. I'd hatch them but I'll be going out of town on the 15th of next month and don't want to have young babies because they will have to go outside for the person thats coming to feed and water for me. I don't know what kind of weather we'll have then so I don't want to chance it.

Okay folks, here goes my first (and hopefully not last) auction!
I've got 3 Black Copper Marans eggs and 8 Lavender Ameraucana eggs- 4 from a Lav roo over split hen, 4 from a Lav roo over Lav hen. You have a 75% chance of lavenders, and 25% chance of splits. Eggs are marked with S (split) or L (lavender) or B (BCM) and the date the egg was collected. No eggs will be more than 10 days old.
Since the eggs come from two different Roos and hens are distantly related, you'll have a bit of genetic diversity. Roos are Blehm lines, hens are Shaffer lines. The BCMs are from Wade Jeane lines.
I've added the Ameraucana color chart, as the picture is a bit washed out. If you have the chart, or can find it online, you can see a better color depiction. Eggs are around C6 and C8.
I'll include any more eggs from the weekend and they'll ship out on Monday. Shipping is $15.
Bidding starts at $20 and ends Sunday at 9pm Eastern time.
