hello,i purchased a incu 12-volt w/ egg turner from incubator warehouse to make my own homemade incubator.i got it all set up and seems to be working good holds temp from 99.1 to 100.1 and the egg turner is turning eggs nicely but I think it may be turning them to much ,the factory default is turning 4 seconds every 12 minutes so that means it is turning completely every 24 minutes now to me that sounds like to much im going to call the company but I wanted to know if anyone has had any personal experience with this. and also want to know if I have enough vent holes in my incubator,i have 2= 1/4" holes on front at egg level and 1 on the side and 1 on the top.

I don't think the eggs can be turned too much the first 15 days or so unless they're just being flipped back and forth.
Unless your incubator is forced air, I would consider one or more holes on the bottom or near the bottom.
I use an aquarium air pump to pump air into my homemade cabinet.
