The New Oklahoma Auction/Swap List

Hi Grace,

I just got an e-mail from Robert Crozier of Crozier Auctions. Here is the text of the e-mail:

Robert Crozier [email protected]

The first Coweta auction will be February 17th. We are planning the 3rd Friday in Coweta thru May.

Thanks,

Robert

[As far as I know, the auction will be at the fair grounds in Coweta. If he's sticking to the format he's using at the Stilwell auction, birds can be consigned starting at 11:30 and the sale starts at 6:00 p.m. <-- This is an assumption on my part.]

I was close, but I was off by an hour on when they start taking consignments. Here's the Craig's List posting for the Coweta auction:

langshanman forgot to mention the turnout at the first sale last month was huge. buyers were willing to spend, sellers were willing to sell.

lots of equipment and birds for sale.

building is heated and air conditioned.

Grace - this is fantastic! I have "subscribed" to this thread so that I will get an email each time someone posts to this thread.
May I suggest including the information that I added in bold on your first post - since the location or how to find the auction is one of the first things we all want to know

Can anyone tell me about the Blanchard, OK sale? I heard the next one is March 10. We're about a 2 hour drive and just wondering if it was worth going! Thanks!

Kenny, sorry to hear about the Choteau auction :( I updated the list.

txchickie, the Blanchard auction is on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, so tomorrow would actually be the next one, and then the 10th would be the first on in March. It starts at 5 in the evening. It's at the Blanchard FFA Building 2500 S. County Line Rd. I have not actually gotten to go to this one, but if you have some specific questions I'm sure other BYC members would be able to answer them :)
Also, the contacts for this sale are Jerry 405-623-9293 and Jim 405-812-7552, if you want to check with them.
