The New "One Day, One Night"

Chase layed down at the back of the den and rested. He played with a clump of moss infront of him.

"I'll be off then." Swift said. "Is it okay if I come back in the morning?" She asked hesitantly.

"Wait!" Scout pleaded.
Swift turned around.
"Can I come with you?" He asked.
"Sure!" She said happily.

Silver curled up in her favorite corner of the den. She piled moss in front of her as she had learned from Chase and closed her eyes. She began to plan her next day, but ended up falling asleep.

Chase woke up to see the moss hanging from the trees and dew collected on spider webs. He sat up and walked out of the den.He headed for the river to wash of the dry mud from yesterday. When he arrived he jumped in behind a rock that protected him from the rushing waters of the river. The got the mud of and hopped up on the massive rock, taking in the view of the sun rise.

SIlver opened her eyes and found Chase wasn't in the den. She felt a pang on fear then hurridly followed his scent to across the river. She hopped up next to him and said hello. "When did you get up?" She asked, looking at him.

Swift woke up and did a huge yawn. She saw that Scout was still asleep so she went to her new fiends den. "Anyone here?" She called softly.

SIlver opened her eyes and found Chase wasn't in the den. She felt a pang on fear then hurridly followed his scent to across the river. She hopped up next to him and said hello. "When did you get up?" She asked, looking at him.

Chase raised his hackles startled and didn't expect to see Silver. "Oh, hi. Um, I got up not too long ago" He said as he lowered his hackles.

"Cool. I'm gonna go grab a few rabbits on my way back to the den so you don't have to hunt." Silver turned and hopped off the rock before looking back at him. "When are you gonna come back?"
