I've only seen the movie, but I'm trying to watch the series.

We saw them all before the Avengers came out. Captain America was my fave of those. Its funny how Hugo Weaving gets stuck as a bad guy in a few different movies with different versions of the same name. What's with that? I personally prefer him as Lord Elrond.

I prefered the Lord Elrond in the books to the Elrond in the movies. He seemed mush nicer in the books.

I found the book drug on too much, I like the movie better... the extended version. I am so going to see the Hobbit, I did like the book for that one.

I thought the book was a little lengthy too, and we own the extended version of the Lord of the Rings .
