Hey everyone,

I'm new both to BYC and chicken keeping, although I was partially raised on a farm in Norway (split custody divorce--American Dad, Norwegian mom) where I got some mad milking skills and a burning case of "Barn Heart" (See: Cold Antler Farm's blog/Jenna Woginrich's book). I am finishing my coop and picking up my first 8 week old baby silkies today! So excited.

I can post pictures later on today, if it isn't too hectic and I don't end up passing out from exhaustion.

Nice to meet all of you! I've shadowed the forums for info many a time, and now I'm finally a member
