Bittersweet sort of day. Boys won their first game 9/4 and second game 4/1 and were first in their bracket but opted out of the playoffs. After all of the games played the past five days they are out of pitchers plus they are pretty worn down. Last game we will see grandson play in this complex. Next year it is on to college ball.

Glad they came out on top. Though tough to hear they probably made the right choice. Think of all the wonderful games ahead over the next four years.

My cherry tomatoes are doing ok and they're really tasty. My full size ones aren't so great, still don't have any ripe ones and the ones that are just now turning kind of orange are small.

Guess there's always next year :idunno

Occasionally we do get that warm in the afternoon. 🤣 I find it a pain restarting the fire so I usually just keep it going, even when it gets rather tropical. The humidity is always high up here so it keeps the house dry, and the cat happy. She starts to get restless when it gets down to 75! Which can be annoying in the middle of the night.

We have 2 pips so far.

The smoke is better today.

Still, incubation will not start which is a good thing. It is not good for eggs to start and stop incubation too many times. It will work n the first week but after that, they would die.
