I have a pumpkin question for you all...

Yesterday at the grocery store they had some nice medium sized pumpkins for sale. The orange ones were $5.99 each and the white ones were $1.29. I bought a white one for my flock. Being the frugal (aka: cheapskate) that I am, I bought a white pumpkin.

Is there a nutritional difference between the white and the orange?
I think a pumpkin is a pumpkin .

Good question Debby! My chickens wouldn’t eat pumpkins.

I'm pretty sure that nutrition wise there isn't much difference. I think the orange is more popular because people like the familiar.
