For me, it took a very long time to really get it, the part about not seeing my sister again. And sometimes those feelings can hit you out of the blue when you don't expect it.

I'm glad you have the tree skirt your sister made for you. Those things take on even more meaning with passings.

I concur. Good neighbors and all that. If we ever have to move back to a neighborhood, I'd want a huge yard and privacy fencing.
