It is good to hear that you guys are safe!I haven't gotten to the news yet but power was out an hour east and an hour west of us. This storm came from the west and is continuing east last I heard. We had high wind advisory until about 30 minutes ago... gusts up to 73mph.
Hope everyone is having a good day, we had bad storms overnight and lost power at 4 a.m.![]()
Omgoodness I cannot imagine, that sounds like a nasty storm. Glad you're both safe!Good morning folksWe have electricity again...
It's always fun to start the day off with an emergency weather alert as the power goes out at 4:00AM and then 911 calls with a message that there was a tornado on the ground... So you sit there wide awake in the dark.
The rain was coming down in buckets and we had really strong winds.
Good morning IM, have a great day

My grandma came home last week - she was very incoherent at the hospital, most likely being in an unfamiliar place, and due to COVID she wasn't able to see familiar faces. Since being home, she's doing much better but always complains she feels "old and cold" but still baking cookies, cooking, and knitting scarves like nothing changed. I guess that's normal when you're in your 90's
Been super busy; helping my mom, and cleaning houses for a couple people, and trying to keep up with kids and animals.
Currently, in the middle of writing Christmas cards.
I'm a believer?Haven't thought about those Monkeys in a while, although I sing some of their songs to my chickens.
Sorry to hear about your mom-in-law. It is difficult.
He wrote "Different Drum" in '64. The producers of the Monkee's show didn't like it when it was suggested the Monkees record it. He gave it to Linda Ronstadt and we all know what happened after she released that recording in '67!I saw that about Michael Nesmith this morning, took a trip down memory lane on that one.
