Apparently the Polish deli was a zoo. Princess managed to get kielbasa, pierogies, sauerkraut and stuffed cabbage.

I so miss my Polish deli. Last time I visited my Mom, they had closed. Their food was amazing.

Was the same for mine. There was a huge immigrant population of Eastern European folks in the town next to mine growing up. We were just outside of Chicago in Northern Indiana. My favorite Pizza joint was opened by a First Generation Serbian (I went to HS with his son who now owns it) who used imported cheese (his own private blend) and everything else he made from his or surrounding gardens/farms. He bought beef rounds for his Italian beef sandwiches from a local farmer. I used to love going there on Monday's (they were closed Monday) and helping prep. He seasoned the beef Sunday afternoon and put them into the oven at 4:00AM Monday and let them cook all day. His shop always smelled amazing. Everything was made from scratch.

It's too close to Christmas for kids to behave That bus ride could get wild!

The kids were well behaved. The bus driver needs to go back for some training. Several teachers said something to the principal about her driving.

I just got back from the grocery store, it was a mad house. Glad to have that over with. DH got here a couple hours ago and he's sick (non-Covid) and at the walk-in clinic. Well, this should be fun!

Hope everyone has all their christmas plans in order for the holidays. My sister is coming over with her kids and plan on spending the night. Excited for her to be here but not so excited for her 4 kids who aren't that well behaved. They are ages 11-2 years
