Right now she’s a hungry and thirsty dog….surgery at 8 am today so she hasn’t eaten or had water since last night.

Well technically that’s about when I woke up too. But after leaving the bathroom I laid down and tried to go back to sleep. Nope. Not happening and my tossing and turning was disturbing Ken. So I gave up.

Well Bob, the reason it happened on the coldest day of the year is because if it was the warmest day of the year you wouldn’t be using the furnace. You’re welcome. ;)

Tam just had to get a new furnace. She‘s had trouble with hers every winter, and every winter this highly recommended HVAC company comes out to “fix it” - but they never really do. It’ll run, then fail, over and over again. Last month she was without heat for 2 straight weeks and that same company came out 2 or 3 times, but couldn’t seem to get it running at all this time. In desperation she called another company. They came out, took her downstairs, and showed her and Ken exactly why the other company couldn’t get it running. She had a new furnace 3 days later.

I hope yours is an easier fix!

Mine is just outside the warrantee, I hope so. The five year warrantee expired in July.

Maybe it was that sort of night? The Princess could not sleep. I woke up at 3 and found her missing. She was in the computer room reading - all snuggled down in a chair. She came back to bed at 4:30, tossed and turned until I left for the spare bedroom. Right now she is sleeping soundly. I'll let her rest.

Full of mud, and they honestly thought they were going to get to come in my new house!! I think not!! I made them stay out on the porch until their feet were drier! Rueben is a full grown Golden Retriever, and Feefer towers over him!

All relaxed on the old deck. Little did she know that her life - and ours - was about to take a dramatic turn. This was taken the day they moved outside to live in the refurbished chicken coop. We thought it would be for a few weeks….it turned into 3 months.

Oh .. I was hoping to see a photo of her. She's awesome. Takes a while for that puppy part to settle down.
