Good morning, Debby and DMC. Actually I haven’t been to bed yet.

The labs will go back up. They tend to bounce a bit. I’ve been as low as 19 and as high as 36. I’m not really on a lab schedule - just whenever I have an appointment with Dr.McGuire, or incidental to another appointment with a different physician like my GP or cardiologist. If they order labs, the GFR is automatically on them like it is for most folks getting blood drawn.

Ah yes. The trip to the Lab Vampires. I have to go every time I see my Diabetic Specialist. My veins are deep and they like to wiggle, so when fasting it takes them 1/2 an hr to find my veins and sometimes as much as 3-4 sticks to hit one. Last time it took 3 sticks and they took it out of my elbow. Sigh.

Good morning, VC. I hate that. Im a hard stick too. My husband, on the otherhand, has other hand, nice ropey veins that come from weight training. He is a phlebotomist's dream. He used to be a nurse's dream, but he got old and grumpy. so now I edit him out of my slumber.
