We had an unexpected visitor last evening.
I had thankfully, locked the chickens in, when I heard the three roosters carrying-on and the hens squawking. I went outside and saw a bobcat sniffing around one of the runs. He wasn't scared of me, but he was wary enough to walk away at a brisk pace.
I wish I'd taken my phone with me, so I could have snapped his picture.
I left the chickens locked in their runs today. They aren't terribly happy about it. I'll probably keep them locked up for at least a week, maybe longer.

Keep a lookout for that bobcat Janie. I know of a member that lost her entire flock to one not long ago. He wasn't scared of her (the human) at all and she had to call a game warden out to get rid of it.
