View attachment 3000528 I let her know that Lisa loved..loved..cats. If you look you can see the shape of the cats all over, then on the edge, cats! Lisa loved it. I will keep it forever. ♥️
Hello Cynthia :)

That quilt is really lovely I just love the cats . Please say hello to Lisa for me :frow

Remember when you put wet phones in a bag of rice? Have you tried that? I think it pulls the water and humidity from the inside of the gadget. (Excuse my techy lingo🤣)
I’ve never had this happen:th
DMC, I just did a quick search of several answers and the only thing they have in common is to disconnect it from all power sources and remove the battery. Some said to use a hair dryer on it, others suggested the bag of rice @janiedoe said. Others said to take it apart (seems kind of scary). Some said to remove the keys to dry the inside. One source said it can take 12-24 hours to completely dry out and then try rebooting it.

Good luck!
It’s not very thick and there’s no way to take it apart. I’m hoping I got to it quick enough and it will be ok. If not, lesson learned. Thanks for looking it up Debby. It didn’t affect the IPad at all. It connects like a magnet so no cords.

If you can get batteries out, those get pulled first. Your keyboard probably does not have removable batteries though. An air duster can push liquid out of the keyboard area. Then turn it upside down to dry.

Heat can be as bad as water so don't get it too hot.

Coffee is better than soda but there might still be enough acid to cause problems later. Often keyboards have a plastic cover between the keys and electronics so can take some liquid and be fine.
I started with heat then went to cool and back to heat again. I don’t have air dusters. Thanks Ron!
Good morning all. DMC . . Our snow has arrived! Yes! It actually looks a bit like a blizzard out there. My Cooper is watching. View attachment 3000524
Ours is slow starting here. We’ll get home before it fires up.

:frow Good morning Cynthia, have a great day and stay warm.

Well, the transition to the new computer has started. I'm in the "wait 2-3 hours for everything to sync up" phase. Then we can start installing software, followed by putting all my folders where they go. Ugh! I hate change!

Is this a work computer or personal?
