Hi Blooie, how is Tam liking her new job?

She hates it. She hates the 50 minute drive in late afternoon to work and especially coming home in the morning after a 12 hour overnight shift. And it’s a state run facility instead of a nicer one like where she was - quite a difference in how it’s operated. She’d like to take a break from health care altogether but jobs are so scarce around here. Well, she’s the one who list her temper and quit - she’s got to take the consequences.

I'm sad for her. I hope she finds something she loves.
Does she have good benefits and retirement, it being a state facility?

Yes but she lost it because she was mistreated by the management one too many times. I don't think many of us would have done differently.

Glad you love that worm!
So far, Mil seems to like it. She has cereal, milk, and deli meat in her apartment. She has to be encouraged to go to the dining room and activities.

Hopefully she’ll become accustomed to the routine and find some friends soon.
