You need a gun to fight off these WY mosquitos...and I thought FL ones were bad. These things out here are monsters!

Guess it's the golf course watering?

We're in a serious drought here this year and rarely saw any mosquitoes this summer.

We're in a serious drought here this year and rarely saw any mosquitoes this summer.

We had a serious problem with the mosquitos from around July through the first part of September. Partly it was due to the watering, partly because the city quit fogging and the pilot that was spraying from a plane lost his license and also, we're right next to a river. They were so bad, people were quitting their games 1/2 way through because they couldn't stand still long enough to take decent shots. Those things were swarming in big clouds and would even follow you on a golf cart. Ugh, nasty!

Any special plans today? 

No, working with the kitten a bit....not sure if she will be a house cat or not. I'm not a fan of cat hair and I'm worried about her messing on the floor...for whatever reason she turned up here and we'll keep her. With winter coming I'd feel horrible if something happened to her. What are you up to Sunflour?

Sitting and having coffee, trying to decide what to do today

I have never had to litter train a kitten, guess I've been lucky, just placed a newbie in the box and they used it.
And it would seem, one that is outside would not be easy to train since they have access to other places.

But, having a cat that is both house and outside never worked out well, they bring in fleas

Sour, you know I love you, but even I am not open-minded enough to stand still while you play William Tell with the clouds of mosquitoes that surround me. I'd be afraid I might end up like your kitchen ceiling.
