Yes! My husband not so much; though he has enjoyed a lot of the "britcoms" that our Public Broadcasting System affiliate aired, that one never really appealed to him. I can still remember the first time I saw it. I don't remember what episode it was, but it had one of those long camera shots that showed a panoramic view of some gorgeous countryside, and 3 figures walking up a road in the distance, deep in conversation. I remember thinking, "I don't know what this is, but one thing I do know - one of those figures must be Peter Sallis, because that's Wallace's voice!"Are you a fan of "last of the summer wine"? The early stuff was good. I may be slightly partisan as its filmed 10 miles or so from my home town

Someone said that the location was as much a character on that show as any of those portrayed by actors, and I agree. Marvelous "exteriors;" if you come from around there, you hail from some beautiful country!
