94% humidity. I'm soaked already.

It's an assassin bug. They are very interesting. They like to come inside on house plants and bite you on the face, while you sleep. But they are really pretty.

I don't care how pretty it is, I wouldn't like it biting me on the face

Every one of them is pretty feisty. I wasn’t prepared for them - I usually keep shipped chicks in the house for a day or two to watch for shipping stress, make sure they understand Mama Heating Pad, and are eating and drinking. But I didn’t even know they’d hatched, let alone been shipped, so I was totally unprepared for indoor chicks yet. I had to take a chance and put them right outdoors from the shipping box.<gulp> Each got a shot of NutriDrench and a drink of water, then tucked under MHP. I’ll be doing a lot of checking on them, that’s for sure. Last time I was out there, they were mimicking the older chicks so that should help them get everything figured out.

Apparently if one ever bit you it was either misnamed or really bad at its job since you are still alive to talk about them!
