When are you making your way to Florida?
My sons girlfriend is heading there tomorrow. Her friend bought her a plane ticket as a college graduation gift. It’s supposed to be hot :lol:

It's definitely warm down there, where DH is it's going to be 88* today.

When I leave depends on who (if anyone) is going with me. If my son is willing to go (or I have to go all the way by myself), we'll leave May 31st. If my cousin is going, we'll leave June 6th.

It's been a tremendous help having my son here. He's really getting the job done with the packing and stuff like cleaning out the garage. It's raining here so cleaning out the shed has to wait. The painters came yesterday and I think they're mostly done with the house trim. They accidentally painted the shutters which wasn't in the estimate but it's not going to cost me more per the biz owner.

Lots going on and I'm tired :lol:
 
Good morning all, happy Friday Eve! We did our shopping last night and decided on a Stearns & Foster mattress. The guy threw in some Tempur Pedic sheets that are supposed to help regulate body temp and I bought a new pillow. Delivery should be Friday. To top it off, hubs maxed out the daily allowance he can charge on his debit card and I left my wallet at home. When we tried to spend a whopping $12.00 on dinner his card was declined. The girl comped our dinner. I’m feeling better with the Universe now.

That’s coming up so fast! I hope you don’t have to go by yourself. Did you get your house listed yet? I bet you are tired. I am glad your son is there to help.:hugs
It’s raining here too. There will not be any field work anytime soon. We’ve gotten 2.25” in 12 hours on ground that was already too wet. My youngest son rented his first quarter of land this spring from the farmer he’s worked for since he was 15. He may not even get that planted. It’s a good thing he has a full time job.
