The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

We did a nonstop trip with Annabelle, my daughter's cat, 13 hours from TN to Texas. We put her in a kennel, and offered her litter box, which we put in a garbage bag, every two hours. She slept most of the trip. She was such an easy going, good cat.
June is the sweetest, but she isn't easy. She kicks litter out, spills her food everywhere, and hides every time she hears a loud noise. Every trip to the vet is accompanied by screaming.
Boo is not sweet. She barely lets us touch her and prefers the dogs to people. She doesn't care much for being inside, and will drive us crazy if we don't let her out immediately, when she wants out. Usually in the middle of the night.
She has to be wrapped in a towel and shoved into the kennel for vet trips. She hisses and howls until we get home.
I swear I am not a cat lady, but I love these two, just as much as I love my dogs.
All the personalities are much like humans 😂 June and Boo sound like opposites; introvert and an extrovert. My sisters cats are like that but they both like being outside.

I love cats but DH and LO are allergic :(
so pictures it is :p

Tell them exposure will help build their immune system. 🤣

We’re about 3 hours out from Sioux Falls. Spending a week there and we have Bug with us, as always. So I’ll be even more sporadic than usual.
Who is taking care of the chicks if you have Katie with you?
Oh, I know, you took the dogs to the kennel and brought the chicks with you ;)

I have no plans to move it unless someone comes and takes it out of the pot. I believe it's 2 or 3 twined together.
Unless that pot seriously stunts the ash tree you are eventually going to have a BIG problem

I can't imagine moving with cats.
DD1 took Checkers from here to VA (600 miles), he is 11 years old. Apparently handled the trip fine (surprisingly, though he was drugged up some and they drove overnight). Seems to have settled in OK, no other animals to annoy him. DD1 sent a video which I posted in @Ribh's thread

Why is that?

He looks a little like our Junapurr! He also seems pretty spry for an 11 y/o.
